Technical trainings for evaluation and modelling in the energy sector

August 13/14 and August 19-21 2019, Hanoi

RENAC together with GreenID, who are part of the IKI consortium “Mobilizing the Co-Benefits of Climate Change Mitigation through Capacity Building among Public Policy Institutions”, offer two technical trainings for Vietnamese stakeholders in the energy sector:

  • Applying and evaluating methods, tool and instruments to mobilize ambitious NDCs and climate change mitigation (13/14 August in Hanoi)
  • Sustainable power generation planning and IRP modelling for Vietnam (19-21 August in Hanoi)

The trainings are directed towards researchers, civil servants and students working in these fields. Each seminar is designed for up to 15 participants. Participation is free of charge and includes materials (colour printed hard copies), coffee / tea breaks, lunch for the duration of the seminar. Language of the seminar is English, though Vietnamese translation will be provided.

Interested stakeholders can apply online. RENAC will choose participants according to the information provided in the application form, e.g. ensure that the participants are part of the target group. Participants accepted for a training will receive a confirmation email from RENAC.
