REPORT: ASSESSING LOSS AND DAMAGE IN THE AGRICULTURAL SECTOR IN THE PROVINCES OF QUANG BINH AND HA TINH, VIET NAM

Since Viet Nam has been considered one of the most vulnerable countries seriously affected by climate change and natural disasters, loss and damage (L&D) in the agriculture has become the critical issue of the country. To enhance the understanding of L&D in agriculture sector of the country by examining the empirical evidence on the ground and provide methodological guidance, the focus of this report is to share the national and international setting for loss and damage; the appropriate methodology for analysis and assessing L&D associated with climate change in Viet Nam; and the case study of L&D in agriculture in Quang Binh and Ha Tinh, Viet Nam.
