We are pleased to present the first volume of the IKI Viet Nam Newsletter for 2025 highlighting the latest climate and biodiversity actions, the country is undertaking to respond to the challenges of climate change. This edition covers a wide range of climate and biodiversity topics including updated electricity supply strategy, MRV for the livestock sector, key findings from the CBD COP16 resumed session, carbon market development, greenhouse gas monitoring in the transport sector, etc.
In addition, this volume features updates on the activities and achievements of IKI projects in Viet Nam. We would like to extend our congratulations on the successful conclusion of the CarBi II project which made significant impacts to both biodiversity conservation and the well-being of local communities in Central Viet Nam.
We are also excited to announce the launch of the IKI Viet Nam website, a comprehensive knowledge exchange platform among IKI implementers in Viet Nam. We hope this website will support your climate works and look forward to your contributions to enhance its variety and inclusivity.
